1. Track Changes
   Monitor whether colleagues have made text changes to your document.
2. Background PDF Exporting
   Export to PDF while still working in your document, via the multi-threading capability of a 64-bit operating system.
3. Sub-Levels on the Layers Panel
   Lock, reorder or hide ex frames, images and shapes by setting sub-levels to objects in your layers panel.
4. Flexible text
   Use Split columns and Span Columns to make fast tweaks to text boxes.
5. Multiple page sizes
   create fancy folds, like gatefolds, without complicated workarounds at the print shop.

ILLUSTRATOR CS5

1. Arrowheads and dashes
   Simpler tools for applying strokes and aligning arrowheads.
2. Improved Art boards
   Workflows are enhanced with a new button-enabled art boards function.
3. Anti-aliasing tools
   Improved text control with a tool to manage text aliasing as well as an Align to Pixel Grid option to enable better onscreen display of graphics.
4. Variable width strokes
   Vary stroke widths with strategically placed anchor points, a great way to vary strokes.
5. Perspective drawing
   Illustrations can be created along a 1, 2 or 3-point perspective with ease.

PHOTOSHOP CS5

1. Content-Aware Fill
   An intelligent fill mechanism that copies surrounding patterns and scenery, into fill spaces, with seamless ease.
2. Puppet Warping
   Adjust and shift pixels with this 3D-like Bone tool but on a 2D surface, particularly good for adjusting arms and legs of models!
3. Camera RAW 6
   Automatic lens correction is a plus, an minimisation of noise in high ISO images.
4. Refined Selection tools
   Object selection tools are faster and better, of course.
5. Better Brush Stroke Effects & the Mixer Brush
   Give a more realistic look to paintings.

DREAMWEAVER CS5

1. Redesigned Start point
   The daunting old “site set up” wizard is simplified and improved. No need to add servers, get the projects started and add them later.
2. Improved PHP support
   Useful code hinting feature will display PHP errors clearly for correction.
3. PHP-Based CMS support
   Test live sites built on Drupal, Joomla!, WordPress right inside Dreamweaver.
4. Enhanced CSS tools and support
   Use more CSS templates, and enjoy the CSS visualisation tool for elements like padding, border and margin.
5. Enhanced Subversion support
   For remote and local version syncing.

FLASH PRO CS5

1. Enhanced Bone tool
   Spring for bones makes objects look realistically flexible.
2. New text engine
   Create print grade text with kerning, ligatures and leading, catering for better electronic publishing of e-zines etc.
3. Save XFL files
   Teams can work on graphics without needing to compress or re-compress .fla binary files.
4. Code snippets
   Blocks of ActionScript to speed up development time.
5. Improved ActionScript Editor
   Enhancements include custom class code hinting, and the ability to access code libraries faster.

AFTER EFFECTS CS5

1. Roto Brush
   Mask multiple frames with a clever new brush – a huge time saver.
2. Auto-Keyframing
   Alterations and changes are saved as keyframes, designed to assist the more inexperienced users.
3. HD readiness
   AE has direct-to-disc camera support for AVC Intra 50 and 100 codecs. RED camera support is now enhanced too.
4. 64-Bit support is nice
   Take full advantage of the possible 8GB of RAM that AE can use.
5. Improved Photoshop integration
   Photoshop layers can be imported with features such as the Repoussé tool on them.

PREMIERE CS5

1. Adobe Story
   Premiere integrates scripts written with online app Story to create metadata that enables scenes to edited.
2. Direct to disk formats
   Support for an extended range of formats for workflow enhancements.
3. Mercury Playback Engine
   Preview and playback more footage in real time, even when files are in HD.
4. Ultra Keyer
   Accurate chroma keying – even on HD footage – with the new Ultra Keyer in Premiere Pro.
5. Adobe Review
   Coming up soon, a service that enables remote viewing of Premiere projects, with commenting and simpler encoding for projects.

Cape Town – 186 Bree Street, cnr Buitensingel.

Spacious, newly renovated, industrial-style shared space, with concrete floors, large windows and gorgeous mountain and city views.

What’s on offer:
For R1500 per desk month – Open plan area, buzzing and creative working environment, free internet, usage of boardroom (projector and screen), use of kitchen and common areas.

Deposit:
One month’s rent in advance, with one month’s notice to vacate your space.

Spaces are very limited, available monthly and on a first come first served basis.
