What is Digital Design?

Digital design is an evolving and exciting multi-disciplinary field that underlies many of today’s fast-growing industries: from advertising to entertainment to web-based communication. Digital design can be seen everywhere in the pixel landscapes around you – in movies and on television, in video games, in magazine ads, in expos and trade show and even museum exhibits, and of course, online. It involves everything from the virtual sets created for a game to the special effects in movies to the design of online advertising campaigns.
