Description
This course is an introduction to the interface, tools and workflow of Adobe InDesign CS4. It is intended to equip beginners with the basic tools and techniques for creating a simple, beautiful layouts. The course includes examples of workflows with Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, creating simple shapes, pathfinder, creating text boxes, threading text, placing images and managing links, creating colour, applying fills and strokes and patterns, introduction to transparency, aligning objects, transformations, basic text character and paragraph formatting, text frame options, basic Pen tool techniques, some simple design tips. No long document features are included in this course.

This course is intended for beginners.
To get maximum benefit from this course, the course participant should be familiar with either Windows or MAC OS X.
