Course Description:
This course is an introduction to the more advanced print and electronic publishing features and tools of InDesign CS4, including advanced text formatting, link management, export options and preparing for print, basic repro tips and tools, customising preferences, composition tools and transparency and colour management.
Who should attend:
This course is intended for beginners who have some basic knowledge in InDesign, who have completed Beginner Workshop I (or have equivalent work epxerience) and want to learn about the more advanced layout and print features of the program, create long documents, understand easier workflow between InDesign and Photoshop, and export to other mediums other than print such as interactive PDF, HTML and Flash.
What you will be able to do after the course:
You will be proficient in Adobe InDesign CS4′s essential tools to create more complex layouts, long documents, manage colour more efficiently for print, troubleshoot problems with complex transparency effects, and export to mediums other than print such as Web and interactive PDF.
