SONIC BOOM VENUE CHANGE

Hey everyone,

Another quick festival update for Metric fans planning on attending SONiC BOOM on September 4th.

The main stage, where Metric will appear, for the third annual SONiC BOOM, Edmonton's Modern Rock Festival, has been relocated to the Northlands EXPO Centre on Sunday, September 4th. The move comes after careful consideration of fan feedback and the effects of Edmonton's volatile summer weather patterns took its toll on several major outdoor events, including SONiC BOOM itself.

All tickets previously purchased will be honoured at the doors.

SQUAMISH UPDATE

Hey everyone,

A quick update for all of Metric fans planning on attending LIVE at Squamish 2011 later this month.

Due to an unforeseen scheduling issues, the festival organizers have made some minor adjustments to the festival line up. Metric were originally scheduled to headline the Mainstage on Saturday, August 20th but we will now perform a full headline set on the Mainstage on Sunday, August 21st with Weezer closing the night. Emily and James will also perform an additional, rare and intimate acoustic set at the Garibaldi Stage on Saturday, August 20th.

"I'm really looking forward to playing two sets at LIVE at Squamish with two very different sounds – a stripped-down, acoustic session on Saturday followed by a raw, rock-out on Sunday. Being part of such a great line-up and in one of Canada's most beautiful settings is a perfect combination for an awesome summer music festival," said Emily.

LIVE at Squamish takes place Saturday August 20th and Sunday August 21st, 2011 at Hendrickson Fields & Logger Sports Ground in Squamish.
